Viacheslav Abroskin offered himself to the Russian troops as a hostage in exchange for the evacuation of children from Mariupol.
“Today, in the completely destroyed city, there are many children left who will die in the coming days, without being saved right now. Time is running out. I appeal to the Russian occupiers – give the opportunity to take the children out of Mariupol. Instead, while the children are still alive, I offer myself…”, he wrote.
